Invite new user to your team

If the user is new and doesn't have an existing Howwe account, you'll need to first create new user in Howwe. After adding a user to the team, an invitation email will be sent, asking the user to set a password for their account. Unless you are using SSO, in which case it will instead include a link to Howwe stating that you will log in using SSO.

Here's a step-by-step guide:

To add a new user to your team go to My Teams > Members > Press +Add member > Click Create new user > fill out user info > Invitation email is sent to user > Done ✅

After creating the new user, an invitation email is sent to the user:

  • Without SSO: An Invitation email is sent asking the user to choose a password and accept the privacy policy.

  • With SSO: A Link to Howwe is sent, saying you logged in using SSO.

  • You are now in Howwe and can see your organization's goals and activities, as well as your team in the navigation at the top of the page.

  • After signing up, visit https://academy.howwe.io/ to take our introduction course and learn about the Howwe way of working. You can also explore https://help.howwe.io/ for guides and other helpful resources.

  • "Bookmark" Howwe in your browser for easy access!

Invite existing user to your team

To add an existing user to your team go to My Teams > Members >

Press +Add member> Type in the email > Press Confirm > Done ✅

After pressing confirm the user will be added to the team with the role "Member".

If you want the person to have another role, find the new member in the in list and click "Change role". Read more about Changing Roles here.
