Article describes process of setting up Single Sign-On (SSO)

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Introduction

Single Sign-On (SSO) allows users to access Howwe with their corporate credentials, eliminating the need for separate logins. This streamlines the login process, enhances security, and simplifies IT management. Setting up SSO in Howwe is quick and straightforward when using Microsoft Azure AD.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Share the Admin Consent Link

  • Send the following link to the customer’s IT admin or another person with the appropriate permissions:

  • Important: Ensure that all email domains used by the customer are covered in the setup. This refers to the part after the "@" symbol in the email addresses (e.g. @company.com).

Step 2: Notify Howwe team

  • Once the request is approved, notify the Howwe team at [email protected]

  • The Howwe team will then add your tenant to Azure and once completed, SSO will be active and ready to use.

Best Practices & Additional Notes

  • If the customer uses multiple email domains (e.g. @company.com, @subsidiary.com), make sure they are all included during the configuration.
