Strategy Stand-up: First-Time Setup

The first time you open the Strategy Stand-up after the September update, you'll be asked to confirm when your team meets. Here's what to expect and how to do it.

The first time you open the Strategy Stand-up after the September update, you'll be asked to confirm when your team meets. It only takes a few seconds, and you can change it again at any time.

Confirming your meeting day and time

When the welcome screen appears, you'll be asked to set:

  • Day: the weekday your team holds its Strategy Stand-up

  • Repeats: how often the meeting happens, for example weekly on that day

  • Time: the time of day the meeting starts

As you set these, Howwe shows a preview of the next few upcoming meeting dates, so you can double-check the rhythm looks right before you continue.

Once you're happy with the settings, select Confirm and start to move into your first Strategy Stand-up.

Why we ask

The date and time you confirm here is used everywhere the Strategy Stand-up shows up in Howwe: the countdown on your team page, the flag in the organization overview, and the reschedule shortcuts in the meeting itself. Getting it right from the start keeps all of these in sync.

Can I change it later?

Yes. If your rhythm changes, you can update the day, cadence, or time at any time from Team settings, without affecting anything you've already reported or planned.
