🧊 February Release Notes - Clearer Goals, Stronger Alignment

Increased clarity to how goals and initiatives are structured in Howwe. With a small but important update to our terminology, we make it easier to understand what is shared across the company, what belongs to teams, and how everything fits together.

Updated over a month ago

🎯 Company Goals & Team Goals – Clear Ownership, Shared Direction

(Previously referred to as “Most Important Goals”)

To improve clarity and accountability, Most Important Goals has been divided into two distinct concepts:

  • Company Goals (Företagsmål)

  • Team Goals (Teammål)

This change makes it easier to distinguish between what is truly company-wide and what is owned at team or functional level.

How this works in practice

  • The Management Team sets the Company Goals

  • Company Goals are then broken down into Team Goals for each function and team

This structure helps everyone understand:

  • What the organization is jointly prioritizing

  • How each team contributes to the bigger picture

This update helps you:

  • Create shared focus across the organization

  • Clarify responsibility between company and teams

  • Reinforce that Company Goals are achieved through contribution from all teams

🚀 Company Initiatives – Enabling the Goals

(Applies to customers using Howwe in Swedish)

To ensure a consistent and intuitive language in Howwe, a terminology update has been made for customers using Howwe in Swedish.

  • Bolagsinitiativ is now called Företagsinitiativ

  • In English, the term Company Initiatives remains unchanged

What is a Company Initiative?

Company Initiatives (Företagsinitiativ) are the most important enablers for achieving the overarching Company Goals.

They represent the key initiatives the organization prioritizes to turn strategy into action.

Why this change matters

  • Ensures consistent terminology in the Swedish version of Howwe

  • Clarifies the connection between Company Goals and Company Initiatives

  • Helps teams better understand how initiatives support the overall direction

As always, the purpose of this update is to support:

  • Greater clarity

  • Stronger focus

  • Better execution
