The Howwe platform experienced a temporary service disruption between 09:50 and 11:20 CET. During this time, users were unable to access the platform.
Root Cause
The issue was caused by a problem with our database provider’s DNS records. This prevented our systems from establishing a connection to the database, resulting in temporary downtime.
Importantly, no customer data was ever at risk. All information remains fully secure and was unaffected by the incident.
Resolution
Our technical team worked closely with the database provider to identify and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Service was fully restored at 11:15 CET.
Next Steps
Our database provider has confirmed that they are reviewing and implementing additional safeguards to minimize the risk of similar disruptions in the future.
